Insurance Code § 1451.127","heading":"DUTY OF PERSON ARRANGING PROVIDER CONTRACTS FOR HEALTH INSURER OR HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION.","body":"(a) A person who arranges contracts with providers on behalf of a health maintenance organization or health insurer shall comply with laws related to the duties of the organization or insurer to notify and consider providers for those contracts.\n(b) A violation of this section:\n(1) is an unlawful practice under Section 15.05, Business \u0026 Commerce Code; and\n(2) constitutes restraint of trade.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 3, eff.
