Insurance Code § 1452.051","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Advanced practice nurse\" has the meaning assigned by Section 301.152, Occupations Code.\n(2) \"Physician\" means an individual licensed to practice medicine in this state.\n(3) \"Physician assistant\" means an individual who holds a license issued under Chapter 204, Occupations Code.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 3, eff.
