Insurance Code § 1501.256","heading":"COORDINATION WITH FEDERAL LAW.","body":"(a) To the extent required to comply with federal law applicable to a small employer health benefit plan described by this subchapter, the commissioner by rule may:\n(1) modify the plan; or\n(2) adopt a substitute for the plan.\n(b) The commissioner shall use the Texas Health Benefits Purchasing Cooperative in implementing this section.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 3, eff.
