Insurance Code § 1551.252","heading":"ADDITIONAL TERM LIFE INSURANCE.","body":"Notwithstanding any other provision of this code, the board of trustees may authorize:\n(1) dependent term life insurance in an amount equal to the term life insurance provided under the basic coverage; and\n(2) optional term life insurance in an amount equal to four times the employee's annual salary plus the amount of term life insurance provided under the basic coverage.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 3, eff.
