Insurance Code § 1551.362","heading":"SUBPOENA.","body":"Notwithstanding any other law, the Employees Retirement System of Texas may issue a subpoena that conforms to Rule 176, Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, including a preappeal investigative subpoena or any subpoena otherwise authorized by the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, that the retirement system determines necessary to protect the interests of a program or system administered by the retirement system.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1308 (H.B. 2559), Sec. 39, eff.
