Insurance Code § 1575.159","heading":"COVERAGE FOR PROSTATE-SPECIFIC ANTIGEN TEST.","body":"A health benefit plan offered under the group program, other than a Medicare Advantage plan or a Medicare prescription drug plan, must provide coverage for a medically accepted prostate-specific antigen test used for the detection of prostate cancer for each male enrolled in the health benefit plan who:\n(1) is at least 50 years of age; or\n(2) is at least 40 years of age and:\n(A) has a family history of prostate cancer; or\n(B) exhibits another cancer risk factor.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 3, eff.
