Insurance Code § 1575.356","heading":"IMMUNITY FROM LIABILITY ARISING FROM EVALUATION OF QUALIFICATIONS OR CARE.","body":"The following are not liable for damages arising from an act, including a statement, determination, report of an act, or recommendation, committed without malice in the course of the evaluation of the qualifications of a health care provider or of the patient care provided by a health care provider participating in the network:\n(1) the trustee and its officers and employees, including the board of trustees;\n(2) the group program;\n(3) the fund;\n(4) a member of an advisory committee to the trustee; and\n(5) a member of a credentialing committee.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 3, eff.
