Insurance Code § 1601.154","heading":"LONG-TERM CARE COVERAGE.","body":"(a) A system may join with a board of trustees that administers the uniform program established under Chapter 1551 or the group program established under Chapter 1575 to provide long-term care insurance coverage.\n(b) Each participating board of trustees and the governing board of the system must mutually agree to join together for this purpose, subject to terms that are beneficial to all participants.\n(c) A system may not participate in an agreement under this section unless any cost or administrative burden associated with the development or implementation of or communications about the long-term care coverage plan is incidental.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 3, eff.
