Insurance Code § 1601.202","heading":"FEES FOR CAFETERIA PLAN.","body":"(a) The governing board of a system may establish a monthly fee in an amount set by the board to be paid by each employee who elects to participate in a cafeteria plan for the purpose of paying the expenses of administering the cafeteria plan.\n(b) If the governing board establishes a monthly fee, each employee who participates in the cafeteria plan must authorize payment of the fee by executing a separate payroll deduction agreement or as part of a salary reduction agreement, as determined by the governing board.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 3, eff.
