Insurance Code § 1805.052","heading":"ISSUANCE OF LICENSE; TERM.","body":"(a) The commissioner shall issue a license to an applicant the commissioner determines is qualified, without regard to:\n(1) the state of domicile or residence of the applicant; or\n(2) the location of the applicant's place of business.\n(b) The commissioner shall grant or deny a license to an applicant not later than the 60th day after the date the commissioner receives the application.\n(c) A license issued under this subchapter remains in effect until the commissioner suspends or revokes the license.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 2, eff.
