Insurance Code § 2053.010","heading":"PENALTIES.","body":"If a workers' compensation insurance policy is issued and the commissioner subsequently disapproves the rate or filing on which the premium is based, the commissioner, after notice and the opportunity for a hearing, may:\n(1) impose sanctions under Chapter 82;\n(2) issue a cease and desist order under Chapter 83;\n(3) impose administrative penalties under Chapter 84; or\n(4) take any combination of these actions.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 2, eff.
