Insurance Code § 2155.005","heading":"TRAINING REQUIREMENTS.","body":"(a) As a condition for continuing participation in coverage provided under Section 2155.003, a participating CIPBM shall complete a wildfire suppression course offered or sanctioned by the service that trains the CIPBM on:\n(1) proper coordination with this state or local fire departments in the event that a prescribed burn escapes its predetermined boundaries; and\n(2) proper assistance in the suppression of a naturally occurring wildfire.\n(b) The service shall:\n(1) develop the course described by Subsection (a) in compliance with the minimum standards for prescribed burn manager certification under Section 153.048, Natural Resources Code; and\n(2) maintain records of a participating CIPBM's completion of the course.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 595 (H.B. 2563), Sec. 1, eff.
