Insurance Code § 2201.104","heading":"FILING FEE.","body":"(a) In addition to all other fees imposed on an insurer chartered and authorized to engage in business under Chapter 822, 861, 883, or 942, a risk retention group chartered in this state shall pay a filing fee in an amount not to exceed $1,000 as set by rules adopted by the commissioner.\n(b) Fees collected under this section shall be deposited to the credit of the Texas Department of Insurance operating account to pay expenses incurred by the commissioner under Sections 2201.102 and 2201.103.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 2, eff.
