Insurance Code § 2208.252","heading":"USES OF FUND.","body":"(a) Administrative expenses of the pool may be paid from the fund.\n(b) Money in the fund may not be used to pay:\n(1) punitive damages;\n(2) a fine or penalty imposed for a violation of:\n(A) a statute;\n(B) an administrative rule or regulation; or\n(C) an order or ordinance of a public entity; or\n(3) a claim under excess insurance coverage until all benefits payable under any other underlying policy or self-insurance covering the claim or judgment are exhausted.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 2, eff.
