Insurance Code § 2210.007","heading":"IMMUNITY FROM LIABILITY IN GENERAL.","body":"(a) This section applies to:\n(1) the association and a director, agent, or association staff;\n(2) the commissioner, the department, and department staff; and\n(3) a participating insurer and the insurer's agents and staff.\n(b) A person described by Subsection (a) is not liable, and a cause of action does not arise against the person, for:\n(1) an inspection made under the plan of operation; or\n(2) any statement made in good faith by the person:\n(A) in a report or communication concerning risks submitted to the association; or\n(B) at any administrative hearing conducted under this chapter in connection with the inspection or statement.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 2, eff.
