Insurance Code § 2551.202","heading":"EXCEPTION: FOREIGN TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY.","body":"(a) A foreign title insurance company is not required to make a deposit under Section 2551.201 if the company has on deposit with insurance regulatory bodies in the United States an aggregate amount of deposit that:\n(1) is equal to the amount required by Section 2551.201; and\n(2) secures all policyholders of the company, regardless of their location.\n(b) The foreign title insurance company must file with the department a certificate of deposit under the hand and seal of each insurance regulatory body holding a deposit of the company.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 6, eff.
