Insurance Code § 4001.105","heading":"ISSUANCE OF LICENSE TO INDIVIDUAL.","body":"The department shall issue a license to an individual to engage in business as an agent if the department determines that the individual:\n(1) is at least 18 years of age;\n(2) has passed the licensing examination required under this code within the past 12 months;\n(3) has not committed an act for which a license may be denied under Subchapter C, Chapter 4005; and\n(4) has submitted the application, appropriate fees, and any other information required by the department.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 7, eff.
