Insurance Code § 4001.203","heading":"TERM OF APPOINTMENT.","body":"(a) An appointment authorizing an agent to act for an insurer continues in effect without the necessity of renewal until the appointment is terminated or withdrawn by the insurer or the agent.\n(b) A renewal license issued to an agent authorizes the agent to represent and act for each insurer for which the agent holds an appointment until the appointment is terminated or withdrawn, and the agent is considered to be the agent of each appointing insurer for the purposes of this code.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 7, eff.
