Insurance Code § 401.105","heading":"OATH OF EXAMINERS AND ASSISTANTS.","body":"Before entering into the duties of appointment as an examiner or assistant examiner, an individual must take and file in the office of the secretary of state an oath to:\n(1) support the constitution of this state;\n(2) faithfully conduct the individual's duties of office;\n(3) make fair and impartial examinations;\n(4) not accept, directly or indirectly, as a gift or emolument any pay for the discharge of the individual's duty, other than the compensation to which the individual is entitled by law; and\n(5) not reveal the condition of a corporation, firm, or person or any information secured while examining a corporation, firm, or person to anyone other than:\n(A) the department or an authorized representative of the department; or\n(B) as required when testifying in an administrative hearing under this code or another insurance law of this state or in court.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 1, eff.
