Insurance Code § 4051.202","heading":"COURSE.","body":"(a) To be eligible to receive a license under this subchapter, an applicant must complete a course of study and instruction offered by the applicable company on motor vehicle insurance and insurance covering dwellings.\n(b) The course of study and instruction must:\n(1) be at least five hours in duration; and\n(2) include instruction on:\n(A) the policies to be sold; and\n(B) the laws relating to the regulation of insurance in this state.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 7, eff.
