Insurance Code § 4055.002","heading":"APPLICABILITY OF CHAPTER TO CERTAIN AGENTS.","body":"(a) A person who holds a general property and casualty license issued under Chapter 4051 or a general life, accident, and health license issued under Chapter 4054 or who holds a substantially equivalent license under this code, as determined by the commissioner, is not required to obtain a specialty license.\n(b) A person described by Subsection (a) is subject to the other requirements of this chapter in the solicitation, sale, or delivery of an insurance product that is subject to this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 7, eff.
