Insurance Code § 4055.007","heading":"APPOINTMENT AS AGENT BY INSURER.","body":"An insurer that appoints an agent under this chapter shall:\n(1) submit a certification of the appointment signed by an officer of the insurer; and\n(2) affirm that the insurer is satisfied that the specialty license holder is trustworthy and competent to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 7, eff.
