Insurance Code § 4152.051","heading":"LICENSE REQUIRED.","body":"(a) A person may not act as a broker or manager in this state for an insurer engaged in the business of insurance or reinsurance in this state unless the person holds an appropriate license under this chapter.\n(b) A person who holds a manager license is not required to obtain a broker license but must comply with Subchapter D to act as a broker.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 7, eff.
