Insurance Code § 425.072","heading":"MINIMUM STANDARD FOR ACCIDENT AND HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRACTS.","body":"(a) The standard prescribed by the valuation manual for accident and health insurance contracts issued on or after the operative date of the valuation manual is the minimum standard of valuation required under Section 425.0535.\n(b) For disability, accident and sickness, and accident and health insurance contracts issued before the operative date of the valuation manual, the minimum standard of valuation is the standard in existence before the operative date of the valuation manual in addition to any requirements established by the commissioner and adopted by rule.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 313 (S.B. 1654), Sec. 15, eff.
