Insurance Code § 462.211","heading":"CLAIMS NOT COVERED: LATE FILED CLAIMS.","body":"(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter or any other law to the contrary, and subject to Subsection (b), a claim that is filed with the association on a date that is later than 18 months after the date of the order of liquidation or that is unknown and unreported as of the date is not a covered claim.\n(b) This section does not apply to a claim for workers' compensation benefits governed by Title 5, Labor Code, and the applicable rules of the commissioner of workers' compensation.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017), Sec. 1, eff.
