Insurance Code § 524.055","heading":"EDUCATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.","body":"(a) The division may develop educational materials and a curriculum to be used in high school classes that educate students about:\n(1) the importance and value of health coverage;\n(2) comparing health benefit plans; and\n(3) understanding basic provisions contained in health benefit plans.\n(b) The division may consult with the Texas Education Agency in developing educational materials and a curriculum under this section.\nAmended by:\nActs 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 721 (S.B. 78), Sec. 1.01, eff.
