Insurance Code § 566.102","heading":"CRIMINAL OFFENSE.","body":"(a) A nonparticipating supplier who intentionally violates this chapter commits an offense.\n(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $500 or more than $1,000.\n(c) Notwithstanding any other law, an offense under this section may be prosecuted in:\n(1) Travis County; or\n(2) a county in which prosecution is authorized under the Code of Criminal Procedure.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1003 (S.B. 1330), Sec. 1, eff.
