Insurance Code § 6002.253","heading":"TRAINING AND SUPERVISION OF CERTAIN EXEMPT EMPLOYEES.","body":"Each registered firm that employs an individual who is exempt from the licensing requirements of this chapter under Section 6002.155(10) shall appropriately train and supervise the individual to ensure that:\n(1) each installation complies with the adopted provisions of National Fire Protection Association Standard No. 72 or other adopted standards;\n(2) each smoke or heat detector installed or sold carries a label or listing of approval by a testing laboratory approved by the department; and\n(3) the individual is knowledgeable in fire protection and the proper use and placement of detectors.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 730 (H.B. 2636), Sec. 1J.001, eff.
