Insurance Code § 651.106","heading":"BUSINESS PREMISES.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a license holder may engage in the business of insurance premium financing:\n(1) in any office, suite, room, or place of business in which any other business is solicited or engaged in; or\n(2) in association or in conjunction with any other business.\n(b) Subsection (a) does not apply if the department:\n(1) determines, after a hearing, that the conduct by the license holder of the other business at the location for which the license was issued has concealed evasions of this chapter; and\n(2) orders the license holder in writing to stop engaging in the business of insurance premium financing at that location.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 2, eff.
