Insurance Code § 651.201","heading":"EXAMINATIONS AND INVESTIGATIONS OF LICENSE HOLDERS.","body":"(a) The department may conduct an examination or investigation that is necessary to determine whether a license holder:\n(1) is in compliance with this chapter; or\n(2) has engaged in conduct that would warrant the revocation or suspension of the license holder's license.\n(b) The department or an authorized representative of the department may:\n(1) require the attendance of any person;\n(2) examine the person under oath; and\n(3) compel the production of any relevant book, record, account, or document.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 2, eff.
