Insurance Code § 651.208","heading":"OFFENSE.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person:\n(1) intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or negligently engages in the operation of an insurance premium finance company and does not hold a license issued under this chapter;\n(2) intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or negligently violates this chapter;\n(3) intentionally or knowingly omits to state a material fact necessary to give the commissioner or the department information lawfully required of the person; or\n(4) refuses to permit an investigation or examination authorized under this chapter.\n(b) An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 2, eff.
