Insurance Code § 823.152","heading":"EMPLOYMENT OF EXPERTS.","body":"(a) The commissioner may employ an attorney, actuary, accountant, or other expert who is not a member of the commissioner's staff and who is reasonably necessary to assist in analyzing a merger or acquisition of control proposed under Section 823.154.\n(b) The acquiring person shall pay all reasonable expenses incurred in connection with the employment of a person under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff.
