Insurance Code § 83.101","heading":"AUTHORITY OF COMMISSIONER.","body":"If the commissioner reasonably believes that a person has violated an order issued under this chapter, the commissioner may:\n(1) initiate proceedings under this subchapter to impose an administrative penalty or direct restitution;\n(2) refer the matter to the attorney general for enforcement;\n(3) initiate a proceeding to revoke the person's certificate of authority; or\n(4) pursue another action the commissioner considers appropriate under applicable law.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 101, Sec. 1, eff.
