Insurance Code § 841.051","heading":"FORMATION OF COMPANY.","body":"(a) Three or more residents of this state may form:\n(1) a life insurance company;\n(2) an accident insurance company;\n(3) a life and accident insurance company;\n(4) a health and accident insurance company; or\n(5) a life, health, and accident insurance company.\n(b) To form a domestic insurance company:\n(1) each incorporator must sign and acknowledge the articles of incorporation of the company; and\n(2) the incorporators must file the articles of incorporation with the department.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff.
