Insurance Code § 845.155","heading":"USE OF SYSTEM AS PILOT PROGRAM, DEMONSTRATION PROJECT, OR STUDY.","body":"The commissioner of health and human services may use the system for:\n(1) a voluntary pilot or demonstration program that:\n(A) evaluates the use of an insured model for beneficiaries of a medical assistance program in a rural area not currently included in an existing Medicaid managed care pilot program area; and\n(B) incorporates the principles of prevention and disease management; and\n(2) a study of the use of promotoras as defined by Section 48.001, Health and Safety Code.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1276, Sec. 10A.217(a), eff.
