Insurance Code § 846.205","heading":"CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF COVERAGE PROHIBITED.","body":"(a) A multiple employer welfare arrangement's plan document may not limit or exclude, by use of a rider or amendment applicable to a specific individual, coverage by type of illness, treatment, medical condition, or accident.\n(b) This section does not preclude a multiple employer welfare arrangement from limiting or excluding coverage for a preexisting condition in accordance with Section 846.202.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff.
