Insurance Code § 885.060","heading":"FRATERNAL BENEFIT SOCIETY'S LAWS BINDING.","body":"A fraternal benefit society's laws may provide that a lodge or a subordinate officer or member of the society may not waive any provision of those laws. Those laws are binding on:\n(1) the society;\n(2) each member of the society; and\n(3) each beneficiary of a member.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff.
