Insurance Code § 888.151","heading":"DATA COLLECTION RELATED TO RATES.","body":"(a) The commissioner shall:\n(1) collect data, statistics, and information on the death rates, lapses, experiences, and other information relating to burial association rates in and outside of this state that the commissioner considers useful in determining reasonable and adequate rates for burial associations; and\n(2) study the statistics, rates, and experiences of burial associations.\n(b) The commissioner may distribute information collected under Subsection (a)(1) to burial associations in this state.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff.
