Insurance Code § 888.203","heading":"CONNECTION BETWEEN BURIAL ASSOCIATIONS.","body":"(a) A burial association may not be directly or indirectly connected with another burial association.\n(b) A member, director, or officer of a burial association may not be a member, director, or officer of another burial association.\n(c) A person whose spouse or employee is an officer or director of a burial association may not be an officer or director of another burial association.\n(d) A funeral director or funeral home directly or indirectly connected with a burial association or designated by a burial association as its funeral director or funeral home may not be:\n(1) connected in any manner with another burial association; or\n(2) designated by another burial association as its funeral director or funeral home to:\n(A) provide its members with services or merchandise; or\n(B) service its policies.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff.
