Insurance Code § 981.156","heading":"EXAMINATION BY COMMISSIONER.","body":"(a) The commissioner shall examine the stamping office at any time the commissioner considers an examination necessary.\n(b) The stamping office shall pay the cost of the examination.\n(c) During an examination, a stamping office board member, officer, agent, or employee:\n(1) may be examined under oath regarding the operation of the office; and\n(2) shall make available any book, record, account, document, or agreement relating to the operation of the office.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff.
