Labor Code § 203.022","heading":"COMPOSITION AND USE OF CLEARING ACCOUNT.","body":"(a) On receipt of any money payable to the compensation fund, the commission shall forward the money to the comptroller, who shall immediately deposit it in the clearing account.\n(b) Except as provided by Section 203.026, money in the clearing account, after it has cleared, shall be immediately deposited with the United States secretary of the treasury to the credit of this state's account in the federal trust fund. This section prevails over any conflicting state statute relating to the deposit, administration, release, or disbursement of money in the possession or custody of this state.\nActs 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269, Sec. 1, eff.
