Labor Code § 302.014","heading":"EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS.","body":"(a) The commission shall provide the Texas Education Agency with information at least each quarter, disaggregated by county or other appropriate region, regarding:\n(1) current and projected employment opportunities in this state;\n(2) career and technical education partnership opportunities with business and industry; and\n(3) professional development opportunities for teachers and learning opportunities for students through industry mentorships, internships, summer programs, after-school programs, and career-based student leadership opportunities.\n(b) The Texas Education Agency shall provide the information obtained under Subsection (a) to school districts for use in local planning and implementation of career and technical education and training programs.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 212 (H.B. 809), Sec. 1, eff.
