Labor Code § 407A.003","heading":"MERGER OF GROUPS.","body":"(a) Subject to the approval of the commissioner, a group may merge with another group engaged in the same or a similar type of business if the resulting group assumes in full all obligations of the merging groups.\n(b) The commissioner may conduct a hearing on a proposed merger and shall conduct a hearing if any party, including a member of either group, requests a hearing.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 275, Sec. 1, eff.
