Labor Code § 408.063","heading":"WAGE PRESUMPTIONS; ADMINISTRATIVE VIOLATION.","body":"(a) To expedite the payment of income benefits, the commissioner may by rule establish reasonable presumptions relating to the wages earned by an employee, including the presumption that an employee's last paycheck accurately reflects the employee's usual wage.\n(b) Not later than the 30th day after the date the employer receives notice of an injury to the employee, the employer shall file a wage statement showing the amount of all wages paid to the employee.\n(c) An employer who fails to file a wage statement in accordance with Subsection (b) commits an administrative violation.\nActs 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269, Sec. 1, eff.
