Labor Code § 419.004","heading":"CIVIL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person who violates Section 419.002 or a rule adopted under this chapter is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $5,000 for each violation.\n(b) The attorney general, at the request of the commissioner, shall bring an action to collect a civil penalty under this section in a district court in Travis County.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 265 (H.B. 7), Sec. 3.287, eff.
