Labor Code § 502.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Division\" means the division of workers' compensation of the Texas Department of Insurance.\n(2) \"Employee\" means a person employed in the service of an institution whose name appears on the institution's payroll.\n(3) \"Institution\" means an institution of higher education or agency under the direction or governance of the board of regents of The Texas A\u0026M University System.\n(4) \"System\" has the meaning assigned by Section 85.01(1), Education Code.\nActs 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269, Sec. 1, eff.
