Labor Code § 52.011","heading":"PROHIBITION OF CERTAIN WORK BY FOREIGN CREW; PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person:\n(1) is an officer or member of a crew of a foreign seagoing vessel; and\n(2) works on a wharf or levee of a port beyond the end of the vessel's tackle.\n(b) An offense under this section is punishable by:\n(1) a fine of not less than $10 and not more than $100;\n(2) confinement in jail for a term of not less than 10 days and not more than 30 days; or\n(3) both the fine and confinement.\nActs 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 269, Sec. 1, eff.
