Labor Code § 91.004","heading":"EFFECT OF OTHER LAW ON CLIENTS AND EMPLOYEES.","body":"(a) This chapter does not exempt a client of a license holder, or any covered employee, from any other license requirements imposed under local, state, or federal law.\n(b) A covered employee who is licensed, registered, or certified under law is considered to be an employee of the client for the purpose of that license, registration, or certification.\n(c) A license holder is not engaged in the unauthorized practice of an occupation, trade, or profession that is licensed, certified, or otherwise regulated by a governmental entity solely by entering into a professional employer services agreement with a client and covered employees.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 9.20(a), eff.
