Labor Code § 92.001","heading":"PURPOSE.","body":"(a) The legislature finds that this chapter is necessary to:\n(1) provide for the health, safety, and welfare of common workers throughout this state; and\n(2) establish uniform standards of conduct and practice for temporary common worker employers in this state.\n(b) This chapter shall be implemented in accordance with these purposes.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 9.20(a), eff.
