Local Government Code § 119.013","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS OF ADMINISTRATOR.","body":"The individual responsible for administration of the pool, whether employed by the pool or any other entity:\n(1) must hold at least a bachelor's degree in a field relating to insurance, finance, business management, or law or hold the professional designation of:\n(A) Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter granted by the American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters;\n(B) Certified Insurance Counselor granted by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors; or\n(C) Associate in Risk Management granted by the Insurance Institute of America;\n(2) must have at least five years experience in administration of risk pools, commercial insurance production or management, or risk management; and\n(3) during each calendar year, shall participate in a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education that:\n(A) is acceptable to the board; and\n(B) relates to the types of coverage provided by the pool, risk management, or administration of risk pools.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff.
